The wine aroma wheel is a great tool to help you pick out aromas and flavors in wine. Towards the center of the wheel, you will see general terms such as “fruity.” Towards the outer edge of the wheel, the terms get much more specific, such as “peach” or “banana.” It’s a great help for the new wine enthusiast. So often you have the aroma or flavor on the tip of your tongue, but just can’t place it. This will help you pick out your descriptors.
